The Story

The Burwick

The Burwick is a place for sharing the beautiful, messy, meaningful pieces of life. It’s where we write about the things that shape us — from family adventures to hard-earned lessons, belly laughs, heartbreak, handwritten recipes, and small wisdoms learned through teaching, raising kids, raising livestock, and how faith plays a part in it all.

As tangible expression of "the simple things", we have our farmstand; The Easter Basket.

A little stand and a whole lot of heart.

An extension of the Burwick, but really where it all started. A little farmstand. A simple honor system where friends and visitors can pick up fresh eggs, cut flowers, homemade soaps, cards and handmade goods. There are no cashiers, no receipts, just trust, good goods, and a whole lot of heart.

This little stand is a reflection of the things we believe in; honesty, hospitality, and the simple joy of sharing what you grow and make with the people around you.
